Hi guys, My name is William. I am currently in California going to school at Wyotech. I served over 8 years in the Military, and I read Ender's Game back in 1998 when i was in middle school. It was recommended to me by a friend because we both were in the Gifted Education program at the time. Reading that book helped me realise my full potential, and gave me so many insights into practical leadership. I really can not wait for the movie to come out, as I have reread Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow religiously every year since I first read the book. I can't wait to talk to you guys and get to know the fanbase that I knew existed but never had a chance to participate in!

Hey there names Gonzales, big fan of the Ender Quartet,  althoguth im not a purist i do hope that the director doest change too much about the movie. Enders Game felt very much like a movie to me. Etheir way thougth it will be entertaining to see the book transformed into a movie

Hey everyone! I'm from Brisbane Australia, but like the administrator I lived in Honolulu Hawaii as well (shoots brah). I'm currently in year 12, and I'm starting university/college next year hoping to major in psychology. I first read Ender's Game in year 10 in highschool since it was required reading (I think it should be required in all schools) and have recently picked up the whole Shadow series recently. I just finished Shadow Puppets, and I'm about the start Shadow of the Giant. I must admit I love the Shadow series, especially Bean who is my favourite character  :) Very, very excited for the movie to come out.

Ho everyone,

New to the site (and Card's work, for that matter) but I'm quickly becoming a big fan. Blew through "Ender's Game" and "Speaker for the Dead" in three days and, as of today, I'm about halfway through "Shadow of the Hegemony." I have no idea whether it's best to read the series based on the chronological timeline of the story or in the order in which the books were written. I'm apparently doing neither (although I think "Speaker" actually did follow "Ender's Game"). I suppose younger generations will face the same issue with the Star Wars movies.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself. 42F, thrice divorced, and I live in a van down by the river.  ;D Actually not the last two. But I am that rare chick who digs Sci-Fi (I've actually read Asimov's entire "Foundation" series) and I'm very interested in the upcoming Ender film. Sounds like a big time cast and budget. We shall see. BTW, great site.

Mabus, loved the book. Looking forward to the movie, but like most adaptations, will probably fall short (I'd rather go in with low expectations and be right, or go in with low expectations and be blown away! Either way is a win haha).
