@surajpartha dude it's embarrassing because they cut my role so short but it was great being part of a legendary film like #Endersgame
 

Am I the only one that reads this as horrible? Bean is my favorite character in the book! I hope by "so short" it means his height!! But I know that is not the case. Any ideas on what Aramis means?

OK FALSE Alarm! Did some more nosing around, Aramis was only referring to his role in Dark Knight! At least I hope so!

I didn't even notice him in TDKR.  Saw it yesterday morning so it's still fresh in my mind.  He must have had his hair grow out or something, and I wasn't looking for him.

I'd imagine he was talking about TDKR intead of Ender's Game.  He likely had a lot of screen time in Ender's Game, and must have been disappointed that he was treated like "just another child actor" on Nolan's set.  Though I'm not sure why he's acting surprised.

Yeah he was definitely talking about DKR. He was the kid that Selina Kile rescued near the staircase and then ate a bite of his apple. He had barely 30 seconds of screentime. I admit I was quite sad about it. I think all he said was "Thanks!" but I could be wrong.

If memory serves I believe Bean didn't have that many appearances in Ender's Game. There was the scene where Ender singled him out. The one where Bean demanded a toon. A couple short sequences in the battle room including the ones where Bean uses the deadline and he is used to finish the 2v1 game. Last but not least I think he had 2 appearances in Ender's commander's barracks. Maybe a few towards the final battle and after but no monologues or extended appearances. Take all that and put it on film and it might equal to about 5 minutes total on screen. I could be wrong and definitely hope so. I know Ender said that Bean was the better strategist but I believe he was being modest. Yes Bean is smart on a superhuman level but half of being a brilliant strategist is understanding your opponent, and no one does that better than Ender.

While this is definitely Ender's story, I wonder if some of Bean's story from Ender's Shadow will be told as well, so as to set up the Shadow series to be made into movies.

I think we'll definitely see more Bean than we did in the book since they've condensed the cast a bit.
