Battle School Desks

Hey launchies!

With the hi-res still we got today, we can look at the desks in the background a bit better.

I've attached them to the post. What do you guys think? Are they what you envisioned? Looks like they attach to their lockers and they can pull them out and tilt them.

in the comments on Kelly's first still analysis on Endernews, someone pointed out that the desks might also be detachable. Behind the girl in the yellow uniform, there is a hint of an empty space. That could just be the space left when the desk is pulled out, because we only see the corner. However, there is something on her bed that looks very much like a switched off screen.

Are you saying the lower circle is a desk on the bed? That would make sense as I can't see it being very handy if you had to stand/sit to use it all the time. It's also not very good for sending anonymous messages from God.

A Battle School Desk would be a great toy / item to release when the movie is released.

Ugh, if they came out with a special Ender's Game edition of an iPad that might be the breaking point for me finally getting one. So hopefully they don't do that. lol

Now that you've said it I'm petitioning Apple as we speak for it =) the mere mention of such a possibility just cemented the fact that I'm getting one now. I'd like to personally thank Orson Scott Card for predicting tablets btw.
