Has anybody seen Prometheus yet?  I'll be going tomorrow morning, hopefully before too many people are up to doing anything (those who don't have work anyway.)

Saw it opening weekend and thought it was pretty freaking amazing. I hate spending money to go see movies twice, but I definitely want to catch it in IMAX.

Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender were pretty phenomenal and it's been a while since I've cringed and cussed in a movie, lol. How about that medical scene? *shudder*

I loved the movie.  Was also fun to see the little spin they did on the current ufology stuff the History channel has been airing (ancient aliens and all of that.)  And yes, that medical scene was freaky.  Very well done!

I think for me the best aspect of the movie was how it all looked.  The alien planet, the effects, etc.  My only complaint is the bowl-helmets.  Reminded me of old sci-fi movies from the black and white era.

I also had to lol at the dude that thought the white snake was "beautiful". I was like, dude, you're on crack, RUN!!!

Yea there was something wrong with that guy if he thought a pale, slimy snake-like creature was "beautiful."  It was creepy looking and looked dangerous even in such a primitive form.

The movie made me buy the Aliens blu-ray and we watched the special edition and it was soooooooooooooo long. Almost 3 hours! Still so awesome though.
