First poster is unveiled! What do you think? Too simple? Should they have included Asa's face at least? He's back in LA today, probably to do photo shoots and stuff for marketing so maybe it was too early.

I think we'll see Asa on the front cover eventually.  They've gotta fine tune those special effects and finalize what likely was a bunch of CGI just to be sure the poster matches how the actual movie will look.  I think this is more of a big teaser poster.

I will say I like it more than those fan posters that have been popping up.  It's quite sleek.

I'm surprised it hasn't been showing up in movie previews. Most features have previews in theaters before other movies almost a year before release.

I would think so, especially since so much of the movie has been filmed. I guess making the effects takes time and they want those effects in the trailer. It's so difficult to speculate what's going on in the minds of the EG film people!

Either that or Hollywood is too busy counting their 430 million dollar tax break. Talk about the last people on Earth who need a tax cut...

Not really actually. Only the super huge movies like Avengers and Iron Man 3 have super early teasers. It would be pretty standard for the first EG one to come out in March or April.
